Assets

AudienceMarketers, platform admins
Prerequisites
  • Access to Ad Studio
Ad Studio is currently in beta and may not be available in all workspaces. to enable it.

Assets are the images, components, videos, and other creative files Ad Studio uses when generating ad creatives. The more assets available, the more options the agent has when generating ads.

Overview

The asset library gives the agent access to your brand's visual elements — logos, product images, lifestyle photography, templates, video clips, and other creative files. When generating an ad, the agent selects assets based on the creative direction you provided, the product context, and your brand guidelines.

The Assets page has two tabs: Uploaded (assets you've added manually) and Synced (assets imported automatically from connected ad platforms, which are read-only).

Assets are different from brand guidelines in Context Hub. Brand guidelines show the agent what "good" looks like (style and mood guidance). Assets are the actual files the agent can use directly in ad creatives.

Asset types

Assets are organized by type in the left sidebar. Each asset type represents a category of creative content — for example, product images, templates, or brand elements. Select an asset type to view and manage the assets within it.

Edit asset type dialog

Each asset type has a name, a base type (Image, Component, or Video), optional instructions that guide the agent on how to use assets in that category, and an Editable toggle that controls whether the agent can modify the asset during ad generation. For example, you might set product photography as non-editable to preserve exact product shots, while marking templates as editable so the agent can customize them.

You can also associate asset types with a brand profile and toggle Always load into context to ensure certain assets are available to the agent in every ad generation.

Upload Figma templates

To use your Figma ad templates in Ad Studio, export them as SVG files and upload them as Component assets. In Figma's export settings, make sure Outline text is unchecked — this preserves editable text layers so the agent can customize copy in the template.

Upload assets

To upload assets:

  1. Go to Ad Studio → Assets.
  2. Select the asset type you want to add to.
  3. Select Upload or drag and drop files.

You can upload individual files or bulk-upload multiple assets at once. To remove an asset, select it and select Delete. Deleted assets are no longer available for ad generation but won't affect ads that already use them.

Upload a variety of asset types — product shots, lifestyle images, logos in different formats, icons, and background textures. A varied asset library gives the agent more options and helps it generate more distinct ad concepts.

Use assets in ads

When the agent generates an ad, it selects assets based on:

  • The creative direction and brief you provided
  • The asset type and category
  • Brand guidelines and logos in Context Hub
  • Product catalog images (if using the Choose a product creation mode)

You don't need to select assets manually — the agent chooses what's most relevant. During iteration, you can prompt the agent to swap assets (for example, "use the lifestyle shot instead of the product image") or pick specific assets in the visual editor.
