Kustomer

Setup

Generate an API key by navigating to the Security tab in your Kustomer settings (Settings > Security > API Keys > Add API Key). For more information, check out the Kustomer documentation.

Syncing

Hightouch supports syncing to the following Kustomer objects:

  • Companies
  • Customers

Sync modes

Hightouch supports the following sync modes:

  • Update: Update mode updates particular fields on existing objects in Kustomer.
  • Upsert: Upsert mode pushes new objects to Kustomer and updates fields that change in your warehouse.

Company matching

Companies can be matched from your warehouse to your Kustomer destination using the company name or an external ID. If the selected field is not unique, the incorrect row may be updated.

We can use this field as a merge rule to lookup the record in Hightouch and update it with mapped values.

Customer matching

Customer objects cab be matched from your warehouse to your Kustomer destination using emails, phone numbers, or an external ID.

Field mapping

You can sync any non read-only fields from your source to any of the fields in the selected object.

Custom mappings

You can also sync custom fields to Kustomer objects. If the field doesn't already exists in Kustomer, it will be automatically created.

Note: Custom fields must be suffixed with the proper data type. For more information, check out the Kustomer documentation
