Styles are reusable visual guidelines that anchor ad generation to a specific look and feel. Define a style once — palette, layout, subjects, mood — and apply it during ad creation to keep generated creatives visually consistent.

Overview

A style captures a visual direction as a set of dimensions — labeled design aspects like palette, subjects, layout, mood, lighting, and materials — each with reference images and guidance. When you select a style during ad creation, the agent uses those dimensions to inform every creative it generates.

Styles are tied to a brand profile and available across all projects. You can create multiple styles per brand profile to cover different campaign looks, seasonal themes, or audience segments.

Create a style

  1. Go to Ad Studio → Styles.
  2. Describe the visual direction you want, or upload reference images that represent the look and feel.
  3. Select the brand profile this style belongs to.
  4. The agent generates the style — populating dimensions and example ads based on your input.

The agent breaks your input into dimensions automatically. Common dimensions include Visuals, Typography, Layouts, Colors, Copy, and Logos, but the exact set depends on your input — the agent generates the dimensions that best describe your visual direction.

Each dimension includes a text description and reference images that the agent follows during ad generation. You can edit dimension names, descriptions, and reference images after creation, and add custom dimensions with the Enter a dimension name input at the bottom of the style detail page.

Use a style during ad creation

When creating or iterating on an ad in Ads, the chat input includes a Style control alongside the Brand and Agent selectors. Select a style to anchor the agent's visual output to that look and feel.

The available styles are filtered to the selected brand profile. If you change the brand profile, the style selection resets. Select No style to let the agent choose freely based on the brief and brand guidelines alone.

You can also test a style from the style detail page using the Test your style sidebar — type a prompt in the Mockup an ad input to generate a quick preview without leaving the style editor.
