AWS PrivateLink

AWS PrivateLink is only available on Business tier plans and when using Snowflake as a source.

Using AWS PrivateLink, you can securely connect your Snowflake account to Hightouch. AWS PrivateLink enables private connections between services running in the AWS cloud.

Network traffic between services connected by AWS PrivateLink stays on the AWS backbone network and doesn't travel over the public internet. That means that you can restrict public access to your Snowflake account, and that your data is never exposed to the public internet.

Prerequisites

  • Hightouch supports AWS PrivateLink on Business tier accounts.
  • Snowflake supports AWS PrivateLink on Business Critical accounts or higher.
  • Your Snowflake account must be in the us-east-1, us-west-2, eu-west-1, or ap-southeast-2 AWS region.
  • Your Hightouch workspace must be in the AWS us-east-1 or eu-west-1 region.
