Hightouch is thrilled to announce our integration with Google's Data Manager API, providing brands with a single, unified way to activate first-party audiences and conversions across Google advertising products, including Google Ads and Display & Video 360 (DV360).

Hightouch’s Data Manager API integration is available to all users. We encourage customers to use Data Manager for new integrations and syncs moving forward. Hightouch will continue to support our other Google Ads and DV360 integrations.

How the integration works

Getting started with the Google Data Manager API integration is straightforward:

  1. Connect your data source: Link your data warehouse or other supported data source containing your customer and conversion data.
  2. Define your audiences and conversion events: Use SQL, dbt, or Hightouch's visual audience builder to create the audiences and conversion feeds you want to sync. Include click IDs, customer attributes, and event metadata to enhance match rates to ensure accurate reporting and maximize the effectiveness of Google’s AI optimization systems that learn from your conversion data.
  3. Enhance match quality with Match Booster: Optionally use Hightouch’s Match Booster product to improve Customer Match rates by translating emails, phone numbers, and other identifiers into additional matching signals through Hightouch's third-party identity graph.
  4. Automate syncs & opt-outs: Schedule recurring updates to keep your audiences fresh and conversion tracking current, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and opt-out requests.
